Common questions about pricing
A query is each time you submit a question to MapAI and receive a map result. Panning, zooming, toggling layers, and exporting an existing result do not count as additional queries. Only new submissions of a question count toward your monthly quota.
Yes. You can upgrade to a higher plan immediately at any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. If you downgrade from an annual plan, the change applies when your annual term ends.
When you reach your monthly query limit, you will receive a notification and your account will pause new query submissions until the next billing cycle. You can choose to upgrade immediately to restore full access, or wait for the next cycle's quota to reset.
The Explorer plan is a permanent free tier, not a time-limited trial. Paid plans (Analyst and Team) include a 14-day free trial so you can test the full feature set before your first charge. No credit card is required to start the Explorer plan or the free trial.
Explorer includes core open data layers (postcodes, LGAs, suburbs, public transport stops, key amenity locations). Analyst and above include all ABS Census boundary layers, SEIFA indices, demographic summary data, and additional infrastructure and land-use datasets. Enterprise plans can add private or custom data layers on request.
